Spring Fling is Saturday May 5th from 11:00 - 2:00.  Join us for games, disc golf, composting, growing earth worms, garden tours, and mural painting.

The Central Park Garden is a cooperative effort by the community and Augusta Recreation and Parks Department. The garden is located in Central Park at 1180 Merry Street in Augusta Georgia. The purpose of the garden is to provide convenience, collaboration, and good will among members of the community by gardening together. The garden has pledged to be a steward of the park, provide educational opportunities, and share produce with the neighborhood.  We have held educational events open to the public, regularly picked up trash in the park, co-hosted a health fair, been part of garden tours, secured the donation of disc golf goals to the park,  and participated in a park improvement planning process.

Visit our information page for policy, fee, bed allocation, and other information.

A few of the gardeners have decided to start a separate organization called Friends of Central Park.  The goal of this group is to improve the park.  A facebook page for this effort was just created and will eventually have more information.
